Early start days (5:30am) and late end (11:00pm) are common with weekends as needed. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent overnight travel. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping and driving. SALARY: $13.27 / hour SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Performs proper tracking and shipment of all blood collected on mobile back to center for processing. Conducts donor health histories. Prepares donors for venipuncture and performs phlebotomies. Labels blood packs. Monitors and maintains equipment used in blood collection process. Provides direct care to blood donors to maintain a healthy status before, during, and after blood donation. Loads and unloads before and after drawing. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: CDL for Class B and Airbrake endorsement required. High School diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy or medical assistant experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and move objects (boxes, equipment) weighting approximately 50 pounds. Ability to stand/sit in the work setting for extended periods of time Ability to work varied hours as well as travel Valid state-issued driver s license and safe driving record Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
