ARCADIS is look for a Principal, Oil and Gas Compliance and Permitting for our Rocky Mountain Region. This role could be located anywhere in the Rocky Mountain Region, preferrably located in Montana. Billings is the preferrable location for this role.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Provide support and expertise for compliance and permitting environmental programs with an emphasis on upstream and midstream oil and gas

* Research environmental regulatory and permitting requirements with an emphasis on upstream and midstream oil and gas

* Serve as lead in Mountain states oil and gas market for compliance and permitting services used by the oil and gas industry

* Work closely with oil and gas client development team to target and win permitting and compliance opportunities with the oil and gas industry

* Work closely with other local senior staff to build and grow office focused on providing permitting and compliance to the oil and gas industry in Wyoming and the Mountain region

* Work closely with oil and gas clients and industry trade organizations to understand current and future business needs relative to permitting and compliance. Track emerging regulations and industry requirements to proactively communicate to oil and gas clients regarding future compliance and permitting trends and the potential impacts on their businesses.

* Prepare summary reports and regulatory applicability interpretations. Requires strong writing skills

* Prepare proposals and qualifications information

* Prepare work product for client delivery using Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

* This is position includes both direct technical work as well as project and operations management.

*Candidate can be located in Wyoming, Montana, or Colorado

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 10
* Education required: BS
* Registrations/Certifications required: PE or PG
* Skills required:
* Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
* Must have demonstrated leadership skills including supervision of staff
* Must have substantial experience in working with oil and gas clients on permitting and compliance issues
* Proven track record in ability to identify and obtain work from oil and gas clients
* Knowledge of Mountain region oil and gas industry
* Must have a working knowledge to environmental regulations that pertain to waste, air emissions, water discharges, emergency planning/community right to know for oil and gas industry.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Education preferred: MS
* Skills preferred: Strong working knowledge with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and/or Clean Air Act Program Compliance

* This position does requires travel. Travel amount is negligible.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does manage others.
