Schedule: Part-time, 5-25/hrs per week (varies, based on youth schedule)

Consumer Direct Behavioral Health is part of a family of 20 companies in the Consumer Direct Care Network specializing in Developmental Disability and Mental Health services. Our focus is to help improve the lives of children and their families in the communities where they reside. Consumer Direct Behavioral Health's therapeutic services support children and families as they acquire new skills. By focusing on strengths-based interventions and connecting families with community resources, we follow a family’s lead to create goals that are meaningful for them. We are able to customize our levels of support to meet the unique needs of the clients we serve.
As a Youth Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients between the ages of 2 to 18 with a variety of behavioral issues and skill deficits. The Support Specialist is the treatment team member that will make a paramount difference in life of the youth we serve.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supporting a youth’s treatment plan under the directions of the clinical therapist leading the case
- Implementing functional replacement behaviors for children with behavioral challenges
- Helping develop social skills in youth
- Working independently with children and families
- Maintaining high quality documentation
- Working a variety of hours based on your schedule and the schedule of the families you will support
- Maintaining clinical boundaries and engaging in ethical work practices
- Passion for working with youth
- Highly organized
- Prior experience working with behavioral or developmental issues in youth is preferred but is not required
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
