Primary Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Water Resources Engineer are to provide project engineering and task management; conduct difficult to complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; design and analyze stormwater management systems; conduct floodplain analyses; conduct assessments of transportation related hydraulic structures; collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports; and lead preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and permitting efforts. The ideal candidate will work independently as well as plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on the project/task. Will conduct water resources planning, plan formulation, concept development, develop planning documentation, and assist in water resources permitting efforts.


Required Qualifications


5 years of experience in surface water hydraulics is required.
PE preferred
Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, storm drain system analysis, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microstation is preferred.
Experience with 2D hydraulic modeling software preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
